The ABIC SW-2008, the revised ‘simple works’ contract and the ABIC MW-2008, the revised ‘major works’ contract, have replaced previous versions in all States and Territories.
Unlike the previous ABIC suite, each state and territory now has their own housing version of the contracts which integrate the special conditions required for housing use into the contract. Consequently, it will be necessary and is very important to correctly identify the version of the contract (housing or non-housing) required when you purchase an MW or SW-2008 contract.
