Core architectural services are the professional services required by most clients for a building project from the initial design to construction completion. The majority of projects comprise the core architectural services of concept design, design development, documentation and contract administration.
It is advisable to notify the client of the completion of each stage of service and to seek written confirmation that the work meets the client's requirements before proceeding to the next stage.
The Australian Institute of Architects 2019 Client Architect Agreement (CAA2019) lists the services you are likely to provide on almost any project if engaged from commencement to completion under Schedule A: Scope of Services.
