Moral rights guide and template letters

The Copyright Act 1968 gives architects (as 'authors' of an 'artistic work') three separate moral rights:

  • the right of attribution of authorship;
  • the right not to have authorship falsely attributed; and
  • the right of integrity of authorship.

This guide and accompanying template letters address scenarios under these moral rights, and prepared for use where a single architect has designed the architectural work.
