Feasibility study

A feasibility study is typically undertaken to determine the present value or dollar worth of a project, or to assist in comparing different projects or different options for the same project.

The choice of feasibility valuation method largely depends on the expected user’s requirements. In addition, developers, property investors, speculators, builders/constructors, building occupants (prospective and current), regulators (planning and building permits), real estate agents and consultants (architects, quantity surveyors, and other related professionals) may impose different expectations on costs and benefits when determining the feasibility of a given project.
