Payment of architect fees

(Previously known as Security for payment of fees)

Sometimes it can be difficult to get your fees and accounts paid. Even if you have taken measures to support your right to be paid, such as:

• entering into a client and architect agreement which allows you to withdraw the owner's copyright license if you are not paid
• taking a deposit before doing any work
• resorting to the Security of Payments legislation (where applicable)
• asking the court to make an order for the owner to pay you.
