The Copyright Act 1968 gives architects (as 'authors' of an 'artistic work') three separate moral rights:
- the right of attribution of authorship
- the right not to have authorship falsely attributed
- the right of integrity of authorship.
This guide and accompanying template letters address scenarios under these moral rights and prepared for use where a single architect has designed the architectural work. See Acumen notes Moral rights and Moral rights FAQs for further information.
