Practical completion is the date nominated in the contract for the works to be substantially completed and available for occupancy. This may be subject to change, and an Occupancy Permit is to be issued prior to issue of the Certificate of Practical Completion. At the satisfactory completion of any required rectification work, your architect will issue the final certificate, typically one year after practical completion based on contract.
