A significant part of an architect’s working day is spent in preparation for, or attendance at, meetings. Most meetings are project meetings (that is, they are necessary for the effective management of a project), but many senior architects also spend time preparing for and attending administrative meetings. Virtual or Online Meetings i.e on ‘Teams’ or ‘Zoom’ have become common in the workplace, with Working from home (WFH) being requested by employees whose roles can reasonably be performed remotely. This can at times work with the roles and responsibilities of the architect.
